“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn, or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.”
Sometimes in our day to day stressful lives, we easily forget the little things for which we are grateful. It helps us keep a good positive attitude to remind ourselves of all these small blessings from time to time. So next time you are feeling down or stressed, try playing the “Gratefulness Game”, either by yourself or with your partner.
Think of something for each letter for which you are grateful. For example, “A” is for our daughter Annie. “B” is for Baked Potatoes for dinner! “C” is for my Cuddly Cat Charlie. If you want to, put your list on the refrigerator — then they will be a constant reminder of all the things you are grateful for. (If you can think of something for X and Z you get bonus points!)
